在做企業畫冊等書刊印刷，我們會接觸到一個叫做“開”的術語，在印刷行業中，開數是最為基礎的術語，所以我們不知道什麽是開的話，會在很多事情上無法弄清需求是什麽樣的。

　　在做企業畫冊等書刊印刷，我們會接觸到一個叫做“開”的術語，在印刷行業中，開數是最為基礎的術語，所以我們不知道什麽是開的話，會在很多事情上無法弄清需求是什麽樣的。

　　接下來我們介紹步殼印刷畫冊的開本知識。企業畫冊印刷機械主要由印版裝置橫堅開本。同樣開數的開本，書本幅面也基本一致，可書籍的高(長)和寬不一致。如同樣是16開書籍，豎開本高是26公分，寬是18，6公分，橫開本高是18．3公分，寬26．3公分。內於開本橫堅不一，從排版、印刷到裝訂工藝中部有所不同。大小開本。

　　同樣開數的開本，書的幅面面積還有不同。如同樣是32開本，它的面積就有13，4公分x13公分；18．4公分x14公分；20．3公分x14公分等。仔細看書籍的版權，分別寫著“7肝×1Dg2／32”’“787×1168／32”“850×1168／32”。這標明是不同規格紙張的32開。上海名片印刷原紙規格不一，當然等分開的面積也本相同。目前，書刊畫冊印刷最常用的紙有87毫米xl092毫米和腕o毫米x1168毫米兩種。而前一種為普遍，所以前一種為一般規格的紙，後一種稱做大規格的紙。用大規格的紙印的書籍，在開本數前冠以“大”宇，以和普通紙的書籍加以區別。1s．4公分x13公分是普通32開的書，20．3公分x14公分則是大32開的書，開分為正偏開本和方長開本。

　　正偏開本。紙張按幾何等級對半開的為正開本。紙張的對開、叫f、8開、16開……128開等均為正開紙(見圖3—5)。有的紙開法不是一律對半開，稱偏開本，如3開、5開、7開、11開、13開等。方長開本。同樣的書刊畫冊印刷開本長和寬不同，有的開本偏長，有的訃木魚於：，石，—‘鼻晶不同的公分的開本g4D開有10．3公分×18．6公分和14．8×13公分I48開有17．2公分x9．2公分和13公分x12．2公分等。這三種開別，前邊的規格是呈長方形，後邊的規格相比之下呈方形。
