在包裝印刷中，如果印刷紙的溫濕度控制不好，整個包裝印刷過程都會因堵車問題而受阻。

　　四色印刷機對紙張非常敏感。如果溫度和濕度控制不好，很容易使紙張產生皺邊，這對包裝印刷用紙和印刷品的套印都是有害的。


　　在設備的所有正常包裝印刷中，送紙頭、前規、拉力規、送紙系統軟件和前規監控系統緊密配合。但由於紙張原因或常見的調整故障，有十餘張紙張進入印刷機滾筒和橡皮擦滾筒中間，造成突然停車，稱為卡紙。卡紙給包裝印刷帶來了致命的危害，因此需要包裝印刷工作者高度重視。


　　一是間隙調整不好，包括機械設備雙板控制板的送紙頭與送紙台之間的間隙，送紙輥與送紙輥之間的間隙。送紙台前端開發的壓紙條高寬比調節存在問題。通常使用3張厚的印刷紙。或者超聲波雙張力控制板和擺桿組織不好，造成多次雙張力。


　　二是由於油墨層太厚或紙型變形，紙型粘著使多張紙在一起吸出並展開輸送帶。三是車間安全事故。四色印刷機正常工作時，如果紙張早、晚、斜、缺角、捲曲、缺紙，光學檢查立即指示前規停止晃動，防止紙張再次進入滾筒。同時，搖動送紙齒，打開齒，不要握住紙張。設備減速，滾筒與壓力分離，墨輥伸出，水輥和墨輥停止晃動。如果電氣控制線路不好，很容易把一摞紙捲到印刷桶和橡膠桶中間，導致車禍。


　　因此，溫度變化很大，要想使存放處的溫濕度接近包裝印刷生產車間，就必須專門設立一個紙倉庫。這種紙種經裁切後，可在機器上進行包裝印刷，對包裝印刷質量危害不大，能保證紙張的順利運輸。
