什麽是書籍整體設計觀念

傳統的書籍設計只是局限在封面、封底、插圖設計上,這樣的書籍簡陋缺乏美感。

而書籍是種立體形式,在視覺、觸覺、嗅覺、聽覺等方面都會給人一定的感受,我們要打破傳統書籍設計的觀念,把書籍設計從內容到形式、從整體到局部、從印刷裝訂到銷售看作一個整體的設計過程,對書籍進行整體設計的思考和認定,這種改變拓寬了書籍設計的內涵。


書籍整體設計的前提是閱讀作品與作者溝通,瞭解書籍的內容和作者的寫作目的,這樣才能在設計時把握書籍內涵,對書籍的各個部分進行總體思考,統籌安排,使書籍內在和外在和諧統一。

有些設計者不註意瞭解書籍性質、內容,只憑書名就進行設計,這樣的設計往往會與市場上的同類書籍類似,不能把書籍的獨特個性表現出來。我們在設計時,無論是文字、色彩、構圖、材料、工藝,都要以書籍的內容、主題為依據,每一個部分都要為它服務,使書籍的生命得到視覺上的升華。
