①按用途分類,有報紙印刷用、商業印刷用和書刊印刷用,以及介於報紙印刷和商業印刷之間的半商業印刷。半商業印刷是隨彩色報紙和廣告插頁的需求增加而出現的。由於彩色報紙和廣告插頁用紙的印刷質量要求都不一樣,為了滿足這些不同用紙和不同質量的彩色印品的使用要求,在新聞用捲筒紙膠印機和商業用捲筒紙膠印機之間便出現了半商業捲筒紙膠印機。半商業捲筒紙膠印機的主要特徵是有烘乾裝置、印刷機組的結構比商業捲筒紙膠印機簡單,質量要求較低,價格也較便宜。半商業捲筒紙膠印機本身的結構、質量、控制水平也有較大的差別,主要根據用戶的使用要求確定。
