書刊用及新聞用捲筒紙膠印機經常採用多紙捲多紙路印刷。採用多紙捲多紙路印刷,主要是為了充分發揮多色機每個印刷機組的作用,提高效率。例如在四色機上有4個印刷機組,在印單色活時,把4個紙捲分別進入4個機組,然後在折頁機處折好,機器效率為單紙捲的4倍。

多紙捲多紙路印刷

書刊用及新聞用捲筒紙膠印機經常採用多紙捲多紙路印刷。採用多紙捲多紙路印刷,主要是為了充分發揮多色機每個印刷機組的作用,提高效率。例如在四色機上有4個印刷機組,在印單色活時,把4個紙捲分別進入4個機組,然後在折頁機處折好,機器效率為單紙捲的4倍。同樣的方式,又如雙色機採用雙紙捲印單色印件時,機器效率為單紙捲的兩倍



在報紙印刷中,除了提高效率外,有時要求一份報紙必須折成一疊,那就必須採用多紙捲多紙路印刷(除非單紙路印刷後,再用手工把幾張報紙套在一起)。

如一份報紙有兩張,必須用雙紙路印刷。如果一份報紙有四張,那必須用四紙路印刷。多張報紙的死套與活套則由折頁機的三角板決定。
