水印紙是一種古老的防偽技術,我國是世界上最早掌握水印防偽技術的國家,起源於唐朝,當時的宣紙採用竹簾成型,在紙張上面呈現出的明暗有致的條紋是最早的水印圖案。最早的水印防偽技術,是在抄紙過程中實現水印的製作及顯現,偽造成本高,且技術復雜,廣泛應用於紙幣、證券、證書、證照及其他商業防偽之中。

水印紙在防偽印刷中的使用

水印是指通過透射光觀察(或在暗背景下通過反射光觀察),所引起的紙張厚度或密度的變化,顯示為亮度或暗度的各種色調的識別圖像或紙的圖案。水印紙就是在原紙中帶有這種亮度或明暗變化圖案的防偽紙張。
