由於目前法制尚不健全,市場秩序還不夠規範,國內外一些不法分子為了牟取暴利,專門仿冒名優和暢銷產品,以次充好,以假亂真,形成了具有一定規模的假冒商品市場,嚴重擾亂了社會經濟秩序。

有關資料顯示,查獲的假冒偽劣物資主要有食品、飲料、食鹽、捲煙、藥品、保健品、化妝品、洗滌用品、服裝、鞋類、膠捲、醫療器械、鋼材、水泥、棉花、化工原料、化肥、農藥、種子、汽車零部件、電視機、制假工具、假冒商標標識等。從社會公共安全領域看,還有大量偽造的鈔票、郵票、各種有價證券、居民身份證、戶口本、畢業證書、公章等。
