乾墨粉型靜電印刷printing是基於墨粉對印刷紙張的黏著及脫離來實現的。以施樂公司( Xerox)的iGen3型靜電印刷機為例說明其特點及對紙張性能的要求

(1)主要特點四色乾墨粉技術;墨粉顆粒大(8m左右);墨粉直接從色帶傳遞到紙上;可識別磁性墨粉;印刷速度可達335m/min;解析度可達600dpix600dpi。


(2)對紙張性能的要求

①尺寸穩定性控制合適的水分含量,避免紙張捲曲;厚度均勻,有一定挺度

②錶面性能平滑,一定光澤度水平;無磨損性

③紙張結構/勻度紙張成形;空隙率。

④光學性能不透明度、亮度、白度

⑤可加工性切紙性能好,前印/後印相匹配。
