  印畫冊前圖文處理系統對圖形信息的輸入，隨著輸入方式的不同，採用的方法和原理也有所不同。

（1）若採用光電掃描的方式進行輸入，其輸入原理則與圖像的數字化處理原理同，印畫冊主要通過採樣和量化處理，獲得數字原稿。

（2）若採用數字化儀器輸入，其利用的是電磁感應技術，印畫冊主要是利用數字化儀上金屬柵格，將產生的感應電流將模擬的圖形信號，轉化為電信號，獲得數字原稿。

3）若採用光筆寫字板輸入，其利用的是光電倍增管，將光信號轉變為電信號，得數字原稿。在實際操作中，印畫冊也可以通過相關的圖形處理軟件和鍵盤鼠標進行圖形的制，

依照原稿重新繪制也可以完成圖形的數字化，來獲得數字化原稿。
