該裝置是為印刷廠上橡皮滾筒專設的一組清洗裝置,下橡皮滾筒有一組清洗裝置,下橡皮滾筒的清洗裝置能清洗橡皮布滾筒,當位置換至a′輥時還可清洗壓印滾筒。下橡皮滾筒的清洗裝置在一個導軌中移動。與橡皮滾筒接觸的a輥是由橡膠製成的,b輥為金屬鍍鉻輥,溶液噴灑在a、b輥之間,溶液傳到橡皮滾筒上,再和橡皮滾筒上的臟物一起返回到b輥上。金屬輥b被類似鏟墨器的刮墨膠把臟油和雜物刮下順管道輸走。該機構由橡皮滾筒齒輪為動力帶著b輥旋轉,a輥靠橡皮滾筒。
