​黃色是陽光的色彩、秋天的色彩、收獲的色彩、也是希望的色彩,​黃色具有快樂、希望、智慧、輕快與活潑的個性,​黃色也代表著土地,象徵著權力,還有神秘的宗教色彩黃色介於紅綠色之間,其亮度最高,黃色他顏色配合時具有溫暖感。​淺黃色表示柔弱,灰黃色表示病態,黃色的補色是藍色。

③黃加黑,顏色變暗,且隨著黑色量的增多,顏色由黃向古銅色-暗黃色-黑色方向變化,

④黃色中含有品紅和青色時,最少量者參與混合成黑,第二多者引起偏色,得到較暗的復色。
