在平面作品的色彩傳達中,大面積色塊的色相是主色調而同色相主色調色塊,其面積大小的不同,對人們的視覺沖擊力、刺激性、情感效應都會大相徑庭。

在平面作品的色彩傳達中,大面積色塊的色相是主色調而同色相主色調色塊,其面積大小的不同,對人們的視覺沖擊力、刺激性、情感效應都會大相徑庭。

所以色塊面積的大小,是影響色彩效果的重要因素但是當色塊小到1cm2左右或以下,它在作品中則只能起點綴色、輔助色的作用,當然點綴、輔助小色塊在平面作品中也是不可缺少的。

對這些小面積色塊、細長色線的設計,除考慮與主色調的對比和諧的傳達效果外,還應考慮其印刷效果,註意其色彩印刷適性。

小面積色塊應盡量採用原色,如採用間色或復合色,就必須疊印,而輕微的套印不準就會使小面積色塊成為多色花斑,影響視覺效果。同樣細長色線也應避免使用間色或復合色,否則很容易使細長色線變粗或色相出現偏差,影響清晰度乃至整體視覺效果如果小色塊、細長色線的色相必須是非原色,解決的方法是採用專色印刷,而每增加一個專色,就必須增加一個色版,從而提高其多色印刷成本和印刷周期,一定程度上降低了印刷適性。
