​(1)新的印版裝上機器後,須通過洗版把用來保護版面的保護膠膜從版面上洗去,以便校版、印刷工作能順利進行。
​(2)多批次印刷的印版再次使用時,要將版面上的保護膠膜及圖文部分的剩餘油墨從版面上清除乾凈,以便換上印刷時所用的油墨進行印刷。
​(3)印刷過程中,由於版面的圖文部分積存有紙毛、紙粉、墨皮以及其他臟物而影響到印刷品的質量時,也需要短暫停機,用水擦或用其他去臟材料進行局部擦洗,以去除臟物。

深圳印刷廠清洗印版時應註意以下問題

(1)所用擦布或專用擦版海綿應當是質地柔軟、吸濕性較強以及不易掉毛、無雜質等。

(2)擦洗時,操作者應將擦布擺成饅頭形狀,且用手握平。其擦拭軌跡以“∞”自左至右,往復均勻、迅速而不遺漏地擦洗數遍。

(3)擦洗過程中必須經常清洗海綿或擦布,直至印版擦洗乾凈為止。

(4)上述工作必須是在機器低速轉動或點動時進行。
