印刷紙的厚度、密實度、平整度、粉塵、含水量和pH值對膠印有重要影響。
　　印刷紙的厚度、密實度、平整度、粉塵、含水量和pH值對膠印有重要影響。


　　一、厚度。指紙張的厚度，紙張的厚度應該是均勻的，否則印刷效果會有很大的不同。

　　二、緊密性。密封性是指紙張結構的鬆散或緊密性，也稱為比重或體積。緊密性與油墨的吸收和平滑程度密切相關。普通紙張的油墨吸收量隨著密實度的增加而降低，因此高密封紙適合於用氧化結膜乾燥油墨。


　　三、平整度。平整度是指紙張錶面的平整度和平整度。平整度決定紙與橡膠布的接觸密度。很明顯，紙張的平整度會影響印刷圖形和文字的清晰度。


　　四、灰塵是指紙張錶面的黑色和非黑色斑點。在膠印中，粉塵限制主要取決於印刷材料的要求，如印刷肖像和地圖，不允許大的灰塵和黑點。


　　五、含水量(度)水含量是指一定重量的紙張，在室溫和相對濕度的環境中平衡水分含量，又稱水含量。膠版紙的含水率一般在6%~8%之間。紙張含水量過高，抗拉強度和錶面強度降低，可塑性增強，油墨膜固化速度延遲，接近邊緣，荷葉邊緣，捲曲或不均勻，印刷時會產生褶皺、皺紋等。


　　六、pH是指紙張的酸性或鹼性(以pH表示)。紙張的酸性和鹼性是抑制或加速油墨乾燥或影響潤濕溶液pH值的一個重要因素，也影響油墨褪色的持久性。
