　　金銀墨印簡稱金銀印。它屬於金屬墨水。其特點是高貴典雅，色彩飽和度高，應用範圍廣。金銀油墨主要有兩種成分：顏料（顏色）和粘合劑（油墨）。


　　金墨中的顏料俗稱“金粉”。實際上，它是由銅和鋅合金按一定比例製成的片狀粉末。金粉中銅含量大於85%時，金墨顏色為紅色，俗稱紅金；鋅含量在20%至30%之間時，金墨顏色為藍色，俗稱青金；紅金與青金之間的為青紅金。


　　銀墨顏料為鋁粉，由65%鱗狀鋁粉和35%揮發性烴溶劑組成。鋁粉顏料比例小，易在液體中漂浮。金銀油墨用粘合劑是特殊的油墨。俗稱金轉移油或銀轉移油，主要成分為油、樹脂、有機溶劑輔助材料等，由於金、銀油墨特有的金屬光澤，多年來在印刷行業中一直發揮著重要作用。


　　金銀油墨印刷在實際應用中也不斷創新。金碧輝煌，金碧輝煌，為印刷增添了喜慶華麗的氣氛。銀器的優雅和高貴也受到了更多設計師和商家的追捧。常見的有全版金銀、局部金銀組合、以金、銀為底色套印四種顏色等，用於畫冊、禮品包裝、茶葉包裝盒、賀卡、精裝書、掛歷、台歷等，在金銀印刷的印刷過程中，成品的質量很難控制。


　　首先，由於金、銀油墨的顆粒較其他油墨顏料顆粒粗，印刷過程中紙張與金、銀油墨的附著力相對較差。同時，會發生輕微的氧化和結合反應，影響油墨的附著力。在乾燥過程中，顏料顆粒容易從粘合劑中分離出來，造成附著力差的現象，如果其他顏色的油墨印在金銀油墨上，由於其本身的性質，很容易將底層油墨粘走，造成假印或白印的現象。


　　需要補充的是，印金和印銀是有區別的。金印只需製作一套底片並標明專色即可。專色通道可以正常打印。鍍金不僅需要一套膠片，還需要一塊鍍金板。
