個專業室內設計師,接受一個新的設計項目,都有責任進行更大膽、更豐富、更有想象力的創造。

然而,在創作過程中,現實的建築結構和已形成的設備狀況常常會阻礙設計思維的延展,一旦受挫,就會帶來空間構想的失敗或者設計初衷大打折扣。

面對一個天生條件短缺的現實環境,設計師的專業度受到更高標準的檢驗。

如何利用變換多端的裝飾造型來掩飾建築的弊病,甚至把建築結構設備的束縛轉化為具有特色的裝飾語言,以達到變廢為寶,化弊為利,是一個室內設計師的必修課。

在一個建築建成後,室內設計師幾乎不能改變建築結構,也不能左右項目的投資。
