1.多樣性特點

標志種類繁多、用途廣泛,無論從其應用形式、構成形式、表現手段來看,都有著極其豐富的多樣性。其應用形式,不僅有平面的(幾乎可利用任何物質的平面)還有立體的(如浮雕、園雕、任意形立體物或利用包裝、容器等的特殊式樣做標志等)。其構成形式,有直接利用物象的,有以文字元號構成的,有以具象、意象或抽象圖形構成的,有以色彩構成的。多數標志是由幾種基本形式組合構成的。就表現手段來看,其豐富性和多樣性幾乎難以概述,而且隨著科技、文化、藝術的發總在不斷創新。
