紙張的白度是指紙張潔白的程度,它直接影響著印刷品的反差和圖像色彩的再現性。一般用對白光的反射率來表示紙張的白度。白度高,對白光的反射率就高,印刷後圖像的色彩明朗、鮮艷,階調層次反差強烈,立體感強;反之,印刷圖像所表現的色彩和階調層次也就灰平,反差不足,缺乏立體感。

紙張的白度是指紙張潔白的程度,它直接影響著印刷品的反差和圖像色彩的再現性。一般用對白光的反射率來表示紙張的白度。白度高,對白光的反射率就高,印刷後圖像的色彩明朗、鮮艷,階調層次反差強烈,立體感強;反之,印刷圖像所表現的色彩和階調層次也就灰平,反差不足,缺乏立體感。

白度還有另外一個含義,就是其對三原色光的反射率是否均衡,如果絕對相等,說明是中性白色,對三原色油墨的呈色也是均衡的。如果三色光反射密度略有差別,則說明紙張偏色,會影響三原色油墨的呈色效果,改變印刷品的色彩和灰平衡。
