自20世紀60年代PS版應用到膠印之後,膠印製版工藝一直沿用感光制底片、拼版、曬版、PS版沖顯的印前工藝。為了加快製版速度,減少中間環節和網點損失,提高印刷質量,20世紀70年代末期,美國、日本一些公司開始研製開發CTP( computer tolte)直接製版系統和版材,並於20世紀80年代,形成初級產品,進入90年代以後,CTP技術得到了迅速發展,目前正處在推廣應用階段。

什麽是CTP製版技術

CTP製版技術按版材製版成像原理分類,主要有四種類型:

感光體系CTP版材,

感熱體系CTP版材,

紫激光體系CTP版材

其他體系CTP版材。

其中感光體系CTP版材包括銀鹽擴散型版材、高感度樹脂版材和銀鹽/PS版復合型版材;感熱體系CTP版材包括熱交聯型版材、熱燒蝕版材和熱轉移版材等。
