給印刷版擦膠的問題

在給印刷版擦膠(封膠)時,要註意的問題有如下幾種。



①阿拉伯樹膠溶液的濃度要適中。濃度過高,則酸性過大,對印版有腐蝕作用;濃度過低,則不能形成良好的保護膜。擦膠布或海綿不能含有太多的水分,擦膠以後的印版不能再粘上水滴,否則會局部或全部降低膠液的濃度,沒有足夠的膠層覆蓋版面而造成起臟。



②印版的非圖文部分要確保無遺漏區,膠液要塗擦均勻,避免出現膠滴凝結。所以,至少要重復塗擦兩次,圖文部分的實地可擦可不擦。



③擦膠液的抹布或海綿,不可粘有汽油油墨等油性物質,否則空白部分的錶面未被膠層保護起來以前,便已經吸附了油性物質而起臟。印刷過程中短暫停機時,可以在不清洗印版上油墨的情況,直接擦膠,重新印刷時,必須先用洗版膏和水洗凈版面的膠和墨,才能印刷。如果直接放下水輥供水,利用水輥上的水分溶解膠膜,會增加潤濕液中膠的含量。但一次印刷完成後,需要長時間保存的印版,必須將版面的油墨徹底清洗乾凈後,再擦膠,否則版面上的油墨乾結後,下次再印刷時很難清洗掉


擦膠完畢後,要將印版上的膠液晾乾,再收集起來。如果把沒有晾乾的印版靠在一起,印版錶面會出現發霉或相互粘連的現象,在印刷機上擦完膠後,為加快印版的乾燥,可以開動機器空轉一會兒。
