折疊紙盒通常會有兩種設計方式,像是紙板或瓦楞紙所切割的一體結構或壓線(壓出所需折疊的摺痕)、折疊,最後再粘著結構。其紙盒上的圖案或模線包含了其外表的輪廓形狀、每一塊紙板的切割線與壓線,以及粘合紙盒結構的紙片。

折疊紙盒通常會有兩種設計方式,像是紙板或瓦楞紙所切割的一體結構或壓線(壓出所需折疊的摺痕)、折疊,最後再粘著結構。其紙盒上的圖案或模線包含了其外表的輪廓形狀、每一塊紙板的切割線與壓線,以及粘合紙盒結構的紙片。

紙盒折疊有時也包含其他內部模線與局部剪裁,以增加紙盒的功能性。

以下是兩種最常見的紙盒折疊設計

1)反向折疊

紙盒的上蓋與下蓋的方向是相反的,讓上蓋從前側開到後側,而下蓋則是從後側開到前側;反向折疊盒上蓋的接著邊應在後側


(2)順向折疊

紙盒的上蓋與下蓋的方向是相同的。其開啟的方向通常是從後面往前開。


以下是兩種最常見的紙盒封箱方式

①插耳式其卡榫是插入式紙盒的上蓋卡榫作為封閉作用。

②摩擦式通過結構的交互作用來固定紙盒的四片卡榫,通常是上蓋與下蓋的側邊
