零速接紙是指紙捲在接紙的瞬間紙帶的速度為零。也就是在接紙的時刻,用於接紙的紙帶和被接的紙帶速度均為零,而印刷部分可以不降速繼續印刷。
關於畫冊印刷廠機器的零速自動接紙

零速接紙是指紙捲在接紙的瞬間紙帶的速度為零。也就是在接紙的時刻,用於接紙的紙帶和被接的紙帶速度均為零,而印刷部分可以不降速繼續印刷。

零速自動接紙系統的主要功能是將快要用完的舊紙捲的紙帶按要求準確無誤地粘貼在新紙捲上,並且及時將舊紙捲紙帶切斷,完成接紙工作,所有接紙過程都是在零速(紙帶停止運動)的情況下完成的。

為保證接紙過程中印刷部分不降速印刷,故零速自動接紙系統設有儲紙機構。

零速自動接紙系統有多種類型,較典型的如巴特爾接紙系統和康泰接紙系統。
