畫冊印刷廠機器的高速接紙是指新舊紙捲在接紙過程中紙帶不停,在高速運轉下完成接紙,或者在接紙時刻輸紙機的自動接紙採用與印刷部件降速後的兩紙帶速度相等的情況下完成接紙。高速自動接紙的主要功能是將快要用完的舊紙捲的紙帶準確無誤地粘貼在新紙捲上。

由於高速自動接紙時,新舊紙帶都處在運動狀態,也就是說新紙捲在外力作用下,紙帶速度與舊紙捲紙帶速度相同的情況下完成自動接紙,因此這種自動接紙系統沒有儲紙系統。高速自動接紙系統大都用於新聞印刷或要求不高的書刊及一般的捲筒紙印刷機上。

如果用於商業用捲筒紙印刷機上,則另加專門的送紙機構。
