​油墨太稠,印刷的膜層就過厚,油墨流動性差,造成傳墨不暢,畫面暗調區域網點模糊不清,色彩過深,層次偏悶。​油墨太稀,印刷的墨層過薄,印刷品墨色顯得發淡,色澤陳舊。
關於包裝印刷廠的墨層厚度

包裝印刷廠墨層的厚薄與油墨的稠與稀有關,墨太稠和太稀,都不利於均勻的輸墨和展墨。

油墨太稠,印刷的膜層就過厚,油墨流動性差,造成傳墨不暢,畫面暗調區域網點模糊不清,色彩過深,層次偏悶。

油墨太稀,印刷的墨層過薄,印刷品墨色顯得發淡,色澤陳舊。

因此,包裝印刷廠調配油墨不宜太稠或太稀,印刷時墨層才會適中,色彩接近原稿,達到較好的狀態。可借用反射密度計測出印在紙張上墨膜的密度值進行墨層厚度的控制,密度值越大,墨層越厚。
